Our clients are currently seeking Agronomists to work within the Australian farming industry.
Current Roles:
• Junior Agronomist
This role requires applicants with the ability to study and work through the environmental factors, cultivation techniques, soils, insects and plant diseases affecting commercial crop production. Possibly prepare technical papers and reports describing the outcome of research, develop procedures and techniques for solving agricultural problems or improving the efficiency of production.
To be eligible you must have experience working on broadacre or cotton farms, general operating and servicing experience of farm equipment, the ability to problem solve, communicate effectively via phone and 2-way radio and carry out standard day to day tasks, as well as highly accurate attention to detail.
On farm accommodation is provided in workers quarters and the pay will vary from place to place, however may be at $20+/hour.
