Manage agriculture inputs sales in 8-12 districts in Maharashtra consisting of 25-30 sales staff
Ensure sales, logistics and cash collection processes are followed
Conduct audit of district offices
Train sales staff
Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture/Rural management
At least two years experience in managing sales teams, preferably with top agriculture inputs companies
Should be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Should have exceptional networking and communication skills
Ability to function in an uncertain startup environment and have an entrepreneurial bent of mind
Should be eager to do a lot of running around and hands on work
Need strong family support to excel in such a fast paced startup
Unquestionable integrity and dedication to the cause of Desta to increase income of poor people on a large scale
Travel: 50-75ime would be spent in travelling to district offices and field areas
Compensation: Competitive. Compensation cannot be the primary driver. We are looking for leaders who can grow with the organization for many years to come.
