We are looking for an Organic Fertilizer Sales Manager with professionally trained customer focus to work one-on-one with managing customers, building long-term relationships striving to understand their business and providing distinctive solutions, matched to their unique needs.

Our customers are looking for a sales representatives who has a passion for the organic fertilizer business and will help them stay on the leading edge of the market. An active interest in the business world and a desire to be recognized for success by peers and customers is essential.

Location: This position will be based out of the Origination, Inc., Maplewood, MN Headquarters and will cover a territory worldwide.

The position entails managing the sale of organic fertilizer, identifying market channels, working with distributors, selling, marketing, and estimating product cost. Will develop sales team and work with the sales and technical team to implement new sales ideas, products and predict market trends. Finds and contacts potential new customers and distributers. Keeps in contact with clients, answers their questions, and deals with complaints. Interprets accounts and records to management. Attend trade shows and conferences.

Qualifications
Required:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Minimum 5 years experience in fertilizer or organic nutrient marketing.
Achievement of the expected performance standards in customer management and business results over a 2 to 3 year period of time.
Demonstrated belief in and successful application of sales practices.
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office software, customer database tools, and able to learn new systems.
Asset:
Knowledge of organic fertilizer or fertilizer products.
Knowledge of golf and professional turf industry
Knowledge of fertilizer marketing and practices.
Related post-secondary education or training.
