These endeavors have been around for centuries and will continue to be a vital part of the global economy. We currently have a Granule Line Manager position open at our Moses Lake, WA facility.

Overview: Manages and coordinates the Granule and Raw Receiving areas to ensure the facility operates at a level that meets or exceeds the plant budget. The Moses Lake Granule Plant produces dehydrated Granules packaged in cans, pouches, and bags.

Essential Functions: The Granule Line Manager manages and coordinates the activities of Team leaders in key functional areas in the operation of the plant to ensure budgeted volumes of processed and finished goods are produced with maximum efficiency to optimize variable and overhead costs while meeting budgeted safety, sanitation, quality, and environmental standards. These functional areas include raw receiving, processing, packaging, and quality assurance. This incumbent manages and coordinates activities such as customer communications, governmental compliance, ordering raw product, producing, packing to a pack plan, scheduling transportation for shipping potato Granules, meeting sanitation standards, product safety and quality, warehousing, line maintenance, risk management, company policies, and administration of the Union Contract. In addition, the incumbent must closely monitor internal information and communication systems to evaluate performance of the plant and team members. Interfaces with various support groups of Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Human Resources and Purchasing to ensure maximum cooperation and utilization of support group resources. The incumbent is responsible for the plant operation on a seven (7) day per week twenty-four (24) hour per day basis. Plant Shift Managers will help coordinate the responsibilities on off-shifts.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years food processing experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Prior Shift Manager experience preferred.
