Job Description:
• Monitor animal health
• Feed and tend animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Clean stalls, barns, barnyards and pens
• Write daily basic progress reports
• Handling animals
• Vaccinate / inject IMPROVEST® in hogs aged 3 weeks to 19 weeks
• Ear tagging hogs
• Perform maintenance and repair equipment used for vaccinating and tagging hogs
• Build / repair crowding panels
• General clean up
• Drive to and from clients’ locations
Requirements
-Education: Not Required.
-Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: $18.50 hourly, 30 – 60 Hours per week.

Important Information: This position requires flexibility in schedule. The candidates will work between 6 to 12 hours per day. Workday starts between 5am and 6am from Monday to Friday. The hours of work will depend on variable factors such as the number of hogs that must be treated and the team members in attendance. Weekend work may be required based on the business’ needs. Long hours will be required.
