Business Information: We are a 2000-acre family owned and operated farm that specializes in growing and processing organic crops (these include spelt, soybeans, corn, and oats). As an organic farm, we work to produce high quality grade foods and seed for the national and international organic market. We are also proud to offer processing services for other organic farmers grain.

Job Description:
Plant and cultivate crops
Fertilize crops
Harvest crops
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Helping out in the grain cleaning facility as needed
Assist in the building of grain storage bins and machine sheds
Drive a pick-up truck to commute between home farm and fields
Requirements:
-Education: Not required
-Experience is an asset
-Basic farm equipment mechanic knowledge is an asset
-Basic level of English is required
-Drivers license is required to drive a pick-up truck to commute between home farm and fields
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods.

Salary: From $22.00 to $24.00 Hourly, 50 Hours per week.

Important Information:
-Work schedule: Flexibility in schedule is required. Normal schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm. Saturdays, nights and/or early morning work may be required depending on the business needs. Sundays are always off.
