Today, that kid, firefighter Allen Kronebusch, runs AKE Safety Equipment, the only firefighter owned, operated, and endorsed fire safety company and fire extinguisher manufacturer in the country. AKE Safety Equipment sells their product directly to farmers and dealers within the agriculture industry.
AKE manufactures and sells premium fire extinguishers that are easy to use, less costly to maintain, and offer a long-term value that is superior to traditional dry chemical powder extinguishers. The CEO is a sales person at heart, and runs a sales-driven organization that is experiencing rapid growth (over 333 between 2010 and 2014, and another projected growth rate of 46his year). AKE is extremely well-positioned to serve a niche industry with great room for penetration. They are seeking sales talent to continue their growth trajectory.

This is a face to face product sale talking to genuine people from farmers, to company executives, to local owners.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Selling STOP-FYRE within an assigned territory
Educating prospective customers on the value of the product
Hitting pre-set sales metrics on activity
Documenting efforts and results of each day and submitting to manager on weekly basis
Attending weekly sales meetings
Driven, self-starter who is never satisfied and hungrily seeks out new business
Successful experience in outside sales within a defined territory is preferred
Highly organized with the ability to accurately manage inventory, track activity, and complete sales reports
Thick skinned and able to overcome objections
Flexible and strong communicator; able to communicate effectively at different levels, including connecting with CEOs of multi-million dollar companies, as well as connecting with individual farmers and understanding their business
Integrity and honesty are personal core values
In this 1099 at will position, you’re afforded a generous uncapped commission structure with an attractive monthly non-recoverable draw. The structure is designed for a true sales mentality – you work it; it will come. Actual earnings can be shared upon interview.
