currently have an Maintenance
Manager V position open at our Grand
Forks, North Dakota facility.
Overview:
Manages all Maintenance-related
employees, functions, activities,
and services to ensure sustained,
efficient operation and minimize
down time with the manufacturing
operation by organizing and guiding
all predictive/preventative
Maintenance efforts. Coordinates MRO
stores inventory and provides
support to capital projects. Retains
contact with outside vendors and
equipment representatives. Reviews,
schedules, and coordinates the work
loads of personnel on Buildings and
grounds and in the plant.
Accountable for annual maintenance
budget planning, monthly budget
review of costs and budget cost
control. Reviews and approves all
department allocations and
expenditures. Manages maintenance
department safety programs and
performs personnel administrative
functions such as hiring,
terminating, promoting, and
performance evaluations.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in
Engineering from a four-year college
or university and at least five
years of related experience and/or
training; or an equivalent
combination of education and
experience.
Requires extensive technical
knowledge of mechanical, electrical,
and instrument maintenance
processes/procedures in a processing
industry environment. Specific
experience with the maintenance of
industrial food equipment. Requires
an understanding of OSHA, including
Process Safety Management, EPA rules
and regulations, and ASME and NEC
Code requirements. Experience with
some form of constant improvement
and quality improvement process.
Requires excellent interpersonal,
communication, computer and
leadership skills. Experience with
effective use of teamwork, goal
setting, positive feedback, and
accountability to motivate work
groups to achieve desired results.
Position communicates with internal
departments including plant
departments, headquarters
engineering, environmental, safety
and other Simplot plants. Requires
preventative maintenance, planning,
and scheduling and project
management experiences. Ability to
analyze information and be able to
solve problems with a minimum of
supervision.
