Analyst I or II position open in
Boise ID.
Corporate Information Technology
(IT) has an immediate opening for an
Applications Analyst I or II, DOE.
As an IT Applications Analyst, the
position will provide IT analysis
and support for the J.R. Simplot
Company HR business function and
Lawson Human Resource Management (HRM)
application suite. The ideal
candidate will have a broad range of
IT and Human Resources (HR) business
experience with specific skills in
Lawson HRM applications.
Key responsibilities of an IT
Applications Analyst include:
• Supports existing business
applications and technologies and
assists in the development of IT
solutions
• Resolves technical/functional
design issues and monitors progress
of issues to make sure that
requirements and deadlines are met
• Analyzes user requests and
translates these requests into
system and application delivery
requirements and designs. Evaluates
existing systems and develops system
requirements based on user needs,
existing technical architecture,
business goals and strategy
• Prioritizes and coordinates with
IT and business resources to resolve
complicated technical problems.
Coordinates activities with
colleagues, vendors, and outsourcing
firms to complete projects across
functional lines.
• Provides communication, manuals,
and user training as required.
Initial assignment will be as part
of a team implementing Lawson HRM
for the J.R. Simplot Company.
Project duties can include but are
not limited to:
• develop and document
configuration, system and report
specifications
• report writing and development
• development and configuration of
Lawson Process Flow Integrator
• spec, design, develop and test
system and data interfaces
• perform data conversions
• provide application testing and
production support
Advanced skills in the MS Office
suite required. Database experience,
SQL and/or other programming
language experience
required/desired. Crystal Enterprise
/ Reports skills beneficial.
Bachelors degree (IS/IT degree
preferred) Lawson experience
preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of related
business and/or functional
experience. The position requires
excellent oral, written,
facilitation and presentation
skills.
