currently have a Maintenance
Planner/Scheduler position open at
our Aberdeen, ID facility.
Essential Functions:
This position plans and schedules
all maintenance and projects to
ensure maximum operating efficiency
in a safe, cost effective and timely
manner.
This position is accountable for the
effective utilization and
administration of both the computer
maintenance management system and
the manual tracking system for
planning, scheduling and reporting
of maintenance activities and
project work, maintenance parts
inventory, maintain liaison and
coordination between the production
and maintenance groups and maintain
appropriate records and files to
permit meaningful analysis and
reporting of results of work
completed. This position trains and
assists the maintenance staff in a
participative management style to
ensure the quality/quantity of the
work performed meets the necessary
requirements to meet operational
goals.
Must be forklift certified or able
to become certified prior to start
of training.
Must have a good driving record and
valid drivers license (DMV Check.
Must complete a training period and
have a satisfactory performance
evaluation to retain position.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
1. Four year degree from accredited
college and three to six years
experience and/or training in food
processing/packaging equipment
maintenance and troubleshooting or
equivalent combination of education
and experience.
2. Exceptional computer skills for
entry, tracking and maintaining data
in software programs entry, e-mail
and accessing information in
facility’s computer systems.
3. Demonstrated Problem Solving and
analytical skills.
4. Demonstrated Leadership and Team
Building/Management skills.
5. Strong language skills (verbal &
written) to interpret procedures,
comprehend instructions, and
documents such as operation and
maintenance manuals. Ability to
effectively communicate and clarify
to others both one-on-one and large
groups.
6. Familiar with government
regulations under USDA, EPA, OSHA
and DOT as related to food
processing industry.
7. Be self-motivated, a self starter
and self-directed to work without
close supervision for productivity
purposes in a teamwork environment.
8. Strong mathematical skills for
calculating proportions,
percentages, area, circumference and
volume.
9. Demonstrated knowledge in
mechanical, electrical or
instrumentation with experience in
machinery reliability, food
processing/industrial equipment
maintenance, troubleshooting and
repairs.
10. Must meet the standards on Fall
Restraints as stated in OSHA 1910.66
Subpart F Fall Restraint, Fall
Arrest Systems.
11. Able to maneuver and/or lift up
to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, climb,
crouch, and crawl to get to
equipment.
12. Must have an acceptable safety,
work history and attendance record
(3 credits or more).
13. Completed Lock Out/Tag Out &
Chemical training, understand MSDS
for various areas and knowledge in
the use of fire extinguishers.
14. Good color, distance,
peripheral, close vision & depth
perception required for equipment
maintenance and troubleshooting.
15. No Corrective Action within the
last 12 month period.
