Position Summary:
Manages assigned origination sources within a
designated region to achieve assigned goals for
budgeted placements, fee income, spread and
efficiency that contribute to the overall
profitability of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not
limited to:
1. Generates portfolio lease placement volume
and fee income by selling and promoting FCL
programs and services to existing and new
originators including Farm Credit entities,
independent financial services companies,
commercial banks, manufacturers and vendors.
2. Facilitates lease originations by developing
and initiating a proactive, consultative selling
approach with client relationship managers and
FCS associations within geographic area of
responsibility. Works closely with other client
associates to cross-sell lease products and
services to common customers.
3. Conducts ongoing originator training and
implements the origination management program
for new and assigned originators within their
own geographic area of responsibility.
Identifies possible new originator opportunities
by analyzing their operation and business scope
to offer FCL products and programs to meet their
needs.
4. Functions as an FCS association correspondent
leasing manager by interfacing with Association
management to determine their interest and plans
for offering leasing services, communicates the
leasing products and services, assists the
Association in establishing a business plan for
leasing and coordinates the delivery of FCL
products and services to Associations.
Coordinates these activities with all client
stakeholders.
5. Completes sales management report
requirements. Develops, monitors, implements and
amends periodically financial plan and budget
for assigned territory.

Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in general business,
economics, finance or relevant discipline and 5
years experience in successful sales and sales
management dealing with major account
relationships in an equipment-based environment
or in a financial services environment or
appropriate combination of education and
experience.
• Basic knowledge of lease products, finances,
taxes, complex lease structures, and the various
industries served.
• Basic knowledge and skill in lease structuring
and pricing and in using leasing-related
software products (T-Value, InfoAnalysis, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational,
management, communication, presentation,
creative thinking and computer skills.
Other Requirements
• Extensive travel required.
